✧ It was said: O Messenger of Allah, the people of great wealth have taken the rewards: they pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, and they give charity from the surplus of their wealth! He said: Has Allah not given you that from which you may give charity? Indeed, every glorification is charity, every magnification is charity, every declaration of oneness is charity, every praise is charity, commanding good is charity, forbidding evil is charity, and in the sexual intercourse of one of you there is charity. They said: O Messenger of Allah, does one of us fulfill his desire and have a reward in it? He said: Do you see if he were to put it in what is forbidden, would there not be a burden upon him—or the burden? They said: Yes. He said: Similarly, if he puts it in what is lawful, he has the reward.
