حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَالِيَةِ الْبَرَّاءَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ضَرَبَ فَخِذَهُ، وَقَالَ لَهُ: " كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا بَقِيتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ؟ " ثُمَّ قَالَ: صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، ثُمَّ انْهَضْ، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى تُقَامَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ struck his thigh and said to him: How will you be when you remain among a people who delay the prayer? Then he said: Pray the prayer at its time, then go. If you are in the mosque until the prayer is established, then pray with them.
