حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الْبَرَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا بَقِيتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا ؟ " قَالَ: فَقَالَ لِي: صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَهُمْ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ، وَلَا تَقُلْ: إِنِّي قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ وَلَا أُصَلِّي

✧ O Abu Dharr, how will you be when you remain among a people who delay the prayer from its time? He said to me: Pray the prayer at its time, and if you catch them and they have not prayed, then pray with them, and do not say: I have already prayed, so I will not pray.
