✧ I was in Madinah when I saw a man whom people fled from when they saw him. I said: 'Who are you?' He said: 'I am Abu Dharr, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' I said: 'Why do people flee from you?' He said: 'I forbid them from hoarding treasures, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to forbid them.'
