✧ He came with Abu Dharr, and when he returned, the people dispersed from him. I said: O Abu Dharr, I will ask you about some matter of the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: If it is a secret from the secrets of the Messenger of God ﷺ, I will not tell you. I said: It is not a secret, but when he met a man, did he take his hand and shake it? He said: You have come to one who knows. He never met me except that he took my hand, except once, and that was the last of them. He sent for me and I came to him in his illness in which he died. I found him lying down, so I leaned over him, and he raised his hand and embraced me ﷺ.
