حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ أُبَيٌّ يُحَدِّثُ
فُرِجَ سَقْفُ بَيْتِي وَأَنَا بِمَكَّةَ، فَنَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ، فَفَرَجَ صَدْرِي، ثُمَّ غَسَلَهُ مِنْ مَاءِ زَمْزَمَ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ بِطَسْتٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ مَمْلُوءًا حِكْمَةً وَإِيمَانًا، فَأَفْرَغَهَا فِي صَدْرِي ثُمَّ أَطْبَقَهُ.

✧ The roof of my house was split open while I was in Makkah, and Jibrīl descended. He split open my chest, then washed it with Zamzam water. Then he brought a basin of gold filled with wisdom and faith, poured it into my chest, and then closed it.
