✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ addressed us and said: 'Indeed, nothing of a man's brother's property is lawful for him except with his willing consent.' I said: 'O Messenger of God, what if I come upon my cousin's sheep and slaughter one of them?' He said: 'If you find her to be a ewe carrying a blade and fire-sticks in the wasteland of al-Jamīsh, do not disturb her.' He said: meaning by the wasteland of al-Jamīsh a land between Makkah and al-Jār, a land with no one in it.
