حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ
عَنْ سِمَاكٍأَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ شَمِطَ مُقَدَّمُ رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ فَإِذَا ادَّهَنَ وَمَشَطَ لَمْ يَتَبَيَّنْ وَإِذَا شَعِثَ رَأْسُهُ تَبَيَّنَ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الشَّعْرِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَجْهُهُ مِثْلُ السَّيْفِ؟ قَالَ لَا بَلْ كَانَ مِثْلَ الشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ مُسْتَدِيرًا قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ خَاتَمَهُ عِنْدَ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ يُشْبِهُ جَسَدَهُ
Translation

✧ From Simāk, that he heard Jābir b. Samura say: The Messenger of God ﷺ had some white hairs on the front of his head and beard. When he oiled and combed, it was not visible; when his head was disheveled, it was visible. He had abundant hair and a full beard. A man said: Was his face like a sword? He said: No, rather it was like the sun and the moon, round. He said: I saw the seal at his shoulder, like a pigeon's egg, resembling his body.
