حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ
Translation

✧ He heard Jābir b. Samura say: The muezzin of the Messenger of God ﷺ used to give the call to prayer, then wait until he saw the Prophet of God ﷺ come out, then he would announce the iqāma when he saw him.
