حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا وَيَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَيَتْلُو آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَكَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَصَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ would give the sermon standing and would sit between the two sermons, and he would recite verses from the Qur'an. His sermon was moderate, and his prayer was moderate.
