حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ

أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا لَكُمْ وَلِلْكِلَابِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي كَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ وَالْغَنَمِ، وَقَالَ فِي الْإِنَاءِ: إِذَا وَلَغَ فِيهِ الْكَلْبُ اغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَعَفِّرُوهُ فِي الثَّامِنَةِ بِالتُّرَابِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the killing of dogs, then he said: What have you to do with dogs? Then he granted a concession for the hunting dog and the sheepdog. And he said about the vessel: If a dog laps in it, wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time.

    ووهم فيه في موضعين في الإسناد في قوله يزيد بن خمير إنما هو أبو التياح يزيد بن حميد وفي قوله عبد الله بن عمر وإنما هو عبد الله بن المغفل
