✧ Abu Bakrah Nufay' b. al-Harith b. Kaladah

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ

أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ، فَرَكَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَصِلَ إِلَى الصَّفِّ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: زَادَكَ اللهُ حِرْصًا وَلَا تَعُدْ

Translation

✧ Abu Bakrah entered the mosque and the Imam was bowing. Abu Bakrah also bowed before reaching the row. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not count (the rows)."
