✧ Abu Bakrah Nufay' b. al-Harith b. Kaladah

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الشَّحَّامُ حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

سَيَخْرُجُ قَوْمٌ أَحْدَاثٌ أَحِدَّاءُ أَشِدَّاءُ، ذَلِيقَةٌ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ، يَقْرَؤُونَهُ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ، فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَأَنِيمُوهُمْ، ثُمَّ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ يُؤْجَرُ قَاتِلُهُمْ

Translation

✧ A people will emerge who are young in age, sharp-tongued, and harsh. Their tongues are fluent with the Qurʾān, reciting it while it does not go beyond their collarbones. When you meet them, put them to rest; then when you meet them, kill them, for the one who kills them will be rewarded.
