✧ One day he stood up as a preacher and mentioned in his sermon a hadith. He said: 'While I and a boy from the Ansar were shooting at two targets of ours during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, the sun rose and was in the eye of the observer at the height of two spears,' and he related the hadith. Then he said: 'To proceed.' And he said: Then he clasped the tips of his fingers and said: 'Or he stood—I am in doubt another time—and I have memorized what he said, so he did not put any word before its place nor delay anything.' Abu 'Awana said: 'While I and a boy from the Ansar,' and he also said: 'And it darkened until it became.' Abu 'Awana said: 'zuwwul,' but it is 'zu'ul' which is more correct.
