  • Shafiʿī

machine translationThe hadith prohibiting the sale of an animal for an animal on credit (nasīʾah) is not established.

    in مسند أحمد, p. 20397
  • Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī

machine translationMost of the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) do not affirm al-Ḥasan's hearing from Samurah in any hadith other than the hadith of the ʿaqīqah.

    in مسند أحمد, p. 20397
  • Mubarakpūri

machine translationAs for the hadiths of prohibition, although each one of them is not free from criticism, they are established through three Companions: Samurah, Jābir b. Samurah and Ibn ʿAbbās, and some of them strengthen others. So they are stronger than a single hadith that is not free from criticism, namely the hadith of ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr.

    in مسند أحمد, p. 20397
