حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ حَرْمَلَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ
أَمَانَانِ كَانَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، رُفِعَ أَحَدُهُمَا، وَبَقِيَ الْآخَرُ وَمَا كَانَ اللهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ اللهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
Translation

✧ There were two safeguards during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; one of them has been lifted, and the other remains: 'And Allah would not punish them while you are among them' and 'Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.'
