حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَصْرَ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَامَ سَرِيعًا فَدَخَلَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، وَرَأَى مَا فِي وُجُوهِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ تَعَاجُبِهِمْ لِسُرْعَتِهِ، قَالَ: ذَكَرْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ تِبْرًا عِنْدَنَا، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ أَوْ يَبِيتَ عِنْدَنَا فَأَمَرْتُ بِقَسْمِهِ

✧ I prayed 'Asr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he said the salam, he stood quickly and entered upon one of his wives, then came out. He saw in the people's faces their astonishment at his haste, so he said: 'While I was in prayer, I remembered some gold that we had, and I disliked that it should remain with us until evening or overnight, so I ordered it to be distributed.'
