قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكَانَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا فَائِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَاهُ غُلَامٌ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ هَاهُنَا غُلَامًا يَتِيمًا، لَهُ أُمٌّ أَرْمَلَةٌ وَأُخْتٌ يَتِيمَةٌ، أَطْعِمْنَا مِمَّا أَطْعَمَكَ اللهُ تَعَالَى، أَعْطَاكَ اللهُ مِمَّا عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى تَرْضَى

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a boy came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, there is an orphan boy here who has a widowed mother and an orphan sister. Feed us from what Allah, Exalted be He, has fed you; may Allah give you from what He has until you are content.
