حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
لَا يَسُنُّ عَبْدٌ سُنَّةً صَالِحَةً يُعْمَلُ بِهَا مَنْ بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا، لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ، وَلَا يَسُنُّ عَبْدٌ سُنَّةَ سُوءٍ يُعْمَلُ بِهَا مَنْ بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ وِزْرُهَا وَوِزْرُ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا، لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْءٌ
Translation

✧ No servant establishes a good sunna that is acted upon after him except that he has the like of the reward of those who act upon it, without decreasing anything from their rewards. And no servant establishes an evil sunna that is acted upon after him except that upon him is its burden and the burden of those who act upon it, without decreasing anything from their burdens.
