قَالَ

وَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَقَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ يَأْتِينَا نَاسٌ مِنْ مُصَدِّقِيكَ يَظْلِمُونَا، قَالَ: أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقَكُمْ، قَالُوا: وَإِنْ ظَلَمَ ؟ قَالَ: أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقَكُمْ، قَالَ جَرِيرٌ: فَمَا صَدَرَ عَنِّي مُصَدِّقٌ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا وَهُوَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ

Translation

✧ Some people from the Bedouins came to him and said: 'O Prophet of God, people from your zakat collectors come to us and wrong us.' He said: 'Satisfy your zakat collector.' They said: 'Even if he wrongs?' He said: 'Satisfy your zakat collector.' Jarir said: No zakat collector has ever left me since I heard this from the Prophet of God ﷺ except that he was pleased with me.
