✧ We were sitting with the Messenger of God ﷺ when he looked at the moon on the night of the full moon and said: 'Indeed, you will see your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, just as you see this moon; you will not be harmed (or will not be constrained—Isma'il was unsure) in seeing Him. So if you are able to not be overcome regarding a prayer before sunrise and before sunset, then do so.' Then he said: 'And glorify the praise of your Lord before sunrise and before sunset' (Qaf 50:39).
