✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I cannot learn anything of the Qurʾān, so teach me what will suffice me." He said: "Say: 'Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is greatest, and there is no power nor strength except with Allah.'" He said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is for Allah, Mighty and Majestic—what is for me?" He said: "Say: 'O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, guide me, and provide for me.'" Then he turned away, clasping his hands. The Prophet ﷺ said: "As for this one, he has filled his hands with good."
