حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَخِيهِ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ
كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يَحْبُو حَتَّى صَعِدَ عَلَى صَدْرِهِ فَبَالَ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: فَابْتَدَرْنَاهُ لِنَأْخُذَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ابْنِي ابْنِي، قَالَ: ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ when al-Hasan b. ‘Ali came crawling until he climbed onto his chest and urinated on him. He said: So we rushed to take him, but the Prophet ﷺ said: “My son, my son.” Then he called for water and poured it over the spot.
