✧ The cavalry of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raided us, so I went to him while he was having a midday meal. He said: 'Come near and eat.' I said: 'I am fasting.' He said: 'Sit down and I will tell you about fasting, or the fasting person. Indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has remitted from the traveler half of the prayer, and from the traveler, the pregnant woman, and the nursing woman the fast or fasting.' By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said both of them, or one of them. Oh, the grief of my soul! Would that I had eaten from the food of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
