✧ That he asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about what makes ghusl obligatory, about the fluid that comes after the fluid, about praying in my house, about praying in the mosque, and about eating with a menstruating woman. He said: God is not ashamed of the truth. As for me, when I do such and such—and he mentioned ghusl—he said: I perform wuḍūʾ as I do for prayer, I wash my private part—then he mentioned ghusl. As for the fluid that comes after the fluid, that is madhy, and every male emits madhy, so I wash my private part from that and perform wuḍūʾ. As for praying in the mosque and praying in my house, you see how close my house is to the mosque, but to pray in my house is dearer to me than to pray in the mosque, unless it is an obligatory prayer. As for eating with a menstruating woman, eat with her.
