حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ وَكَانَ صَاحِبَ بُدْنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِمَا عَطِبَ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ أَوِ الْبُدْنِ ؟ قَالَ: انْحَرْهَا، ثُمَّ أَلْقِ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا، ثُمَّ خَلِّ عَنْهَا وَعَنِ النَّاسِ فَلْيَأْكُلُوهَا
Translation

✧ I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what should I do with the camels or sacrificial animals that become disabled?" He said: "Slaughter them, then place their sandals in their blood, then leave them and the people, so let them eat them."
