حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنَّ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ
أَنَّ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ الرُّخْصَةَ الَّتِي أَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي الصَّعِيدِ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّهُمْ ضَرَبُوا بِأَكُفِّهِمْ فِي الصَّعِيدِ، فَمَسَحُوا بِهِ وُجُوهَهُمْ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً، ثُمَّ عَادُوا فَضَرَبُوا فَمَسَحُوا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ إِلَى الْمَنَاكِبِ وَالْآبَاطِ

✧ ʿAmmār b. Yāsir used to narrate that the concession which God, Mighty and Majestic, sent down regarding clean earth — and he mentioned the hadith, except that he said: “They struck their palms on the clean earth and wiped their faces once with it, then repeated and struck and wiped their arms up to the shoulders and armpits.”
