✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ say the takbir and raise his hands when he said the takbir—that is, when he began the prayer—and he raised his hands when he said the takbir, and he raised his hands when he bowed, and he raised his hands when he said, “Allah hears the one who praises Him,” and he prostrated and placed his hands level with his ears. Then he sat and spread his left leg, then placed his left hand on his left knee, placed his right forearm on his right thigh, then pointed with his index finger, placed his thumb on his middle finger, and closed his remaining fingers. Then he prostrated, and his hands were level with his ears.
