حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُنْدُبًا يُحَدِّثُ
أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ، فَلْيُعِدْ مَكَانَهَا أُخْرَى، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى: فَلْيَذْبَحْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ لَمْ يَذْبَحْ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللهِ

✧ That he witnessed the Messenger of God ﷺ pray, then deliver a sermon and say: Whoever slaughtered before praying, let him replace it with another. And he said another time: let him slaughter. And whoever has not slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of God.
