حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ بِأَرْضِنَا أَعْنَابًا نَعْتَصِرُهَا فَنَشْرَبُ مِنْهَا ؟ قَالَ: لَا، فَعَاوَدْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: لَا، فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّا نَسْتَشْفِي بِهَا لِلْمَرِيضِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ ذَاكَ لَيْسَ شِفَاءً وَلَكِنَّهُ دَاءٌ

✧ I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, in our land we have grapes that we press and drink from.' He said: 'No.' I repeated it to him, and he said: 'No.' I said: 'We use it as medicine for the sick.' He said: 'That is not a cure, but rather it is a disease.'
