حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيَّ يَقُولُ
عُرِضْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ، فَكَانَ مَنْ أَنْبَتَ قُتِلَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ خُلِّيَ سَبِيلُهُ، فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ فَخُلِّيَ سَبِيلِي
Translation

✧ We were presented to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Qurayza. Whoever had reached puberty was killed, and whoever had not reached puberty was let go. I was among those who had not reached puberty, so I was let go.
