حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَعْمَرَ الدِّيلِيَّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ، وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الْحَجِّ، فَقَالَ: الْحَجُّ يَوْمُ عَرَفَاتٍ، أَوْ عَرَفَةَ، مَنْ أَدْرَكَ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْحَجَّ، أَيَّامُ مِنًى ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ، فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ saying, while a man asked him about the ḥajj: The ḥajj is the Day of ʿArafāt, or ʿArafah. Whoever reaches the night of Jamʿ before praying the dawn prayer has attained the ḥajj. The days of Minā are three days; whoever hastens in two days commits no sin, and whoever delays commits no sin.
