✧ al-Nu'man bin Bashir on the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ
إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ - أَوْ مِنْ أَعْلَمِ النَّاسِ - بِوَقْتِ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ، كَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا مِقْدَارَ مَا يَغِيبُ الْقَمَرُ لَيْلَةَ ثَالِثَةٍ أَوْ رَابِعَةٍ.

✧ Indeed, I am the most knowledgeable of people—or among the most knowledgeable of people—of the time of the Messenger of Allah’s ﷺ night prayer. He used to pray it at the time the moon disappears on the third or fourth night.
