✧ al-Nu'man bin Bashir on the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي عِيسَى مُوسَى الصَّغِيرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

إِنَّ [الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ] مِنْ جَلَالِ اللهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] وَتَسْبِيحِهِ وَتَحْمِيدِهِ وَتَهْلِيلِهِ تَتَعَطَّفُ حَوْلَ الْعَرْشِ، لَهُنَّ دَوِيٌّ كَدَوِيِّ النَّحْلِ يَذْكُرْنَ بِصَاحِبِهِنَّ، أَفَلَا يُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ لَا يَزَالَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] شَيْءٌ يُذَكِّرُ بِهِ

Translation

✧ Indeed, [those who remember] from the majesty of Allah [Mighty and Majestic], His glorification, His praise, and His declaring of His oneness, hover around the Throne; they have a hum like the hum of bees, mentioning the one who uttered them. Would not one of you love that there remain for him with Allah [Mighty and Majestic] something that remembers him?
