حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي أَمَامَهَا قَرِيبًا عَنْ يَمِينِهَا أَوْ عَنْ يَسَارِهَا وَالسِّقْطُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَيُدْعَى لِوَالِدَيْهِ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ
Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “The rider is behind the funeral procession, and the walker is in front of it, close to its right or its left. The miscarried fetus is prayed over, and forgiveness and mercy are supplicated for its parents.”
