✧ I went out with the Prophet ﷺ as a pilgrim. He said: I saw him come out from the privy, so I followed him with a water skin or a bowl. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted to relieve himself, he would go far away. I sat for him by the road until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned. I said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, water for ablution." He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came toward me and poured water over his hand and washed it, then inserted his hand and cupped it, then poured water over his hand once, then wiped his head, then took water in his hand and threw it on the back of his foot and wiped his foot with his hand, then came and led us in the noon prayer (al-ẓuhr).
