Translation

✧ He said to the Messenger of God ﷺ: “O Messenger of God, which of the people is most excellent?” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “A believer who strives with his life and wealth in the path of God [Mighty and Majestic].” They said: “Then who, O Messenger of God?” He said: “Then a believer in one of the mountain ravines who fears God and spares the people from his evil.”
