حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي وَهْبٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ فَيْرُوزَ أَدْرَكَهُ الْإِسْلَامُ وَتَحْتَهُ أُخْتَانِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: « طَلِّقْ أَيَّتَهُمَا شِئْتَ »

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Yaḥyá b. Isḥāq
  2. Ibn Lahīʿah
  3. Abū And Hb al-Jayshānī
  4. al-Ḍaḥḥāk b. Fayrūz

✧ That his father Fayruz embraced Islam while he had two sisters as wives, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Divorce whichever of them you wish.'
