Musnad Ahmad 17903

✧ Uthman b. Abi al-Aas narrates from the Prophet ﷺ

وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: « صِيَامٌ حَسَنٌ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ».

Translation

✧ And I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “A good fast is three days of the month.”
