✧ O people, whoever of you works for us on some task and conceals from us even a needle or anything above it, it will be a burden he will bring on the Day of Resurrection. A man from the Ansar, dark-skinned—Mujalid said: He is Sa'd b. 'Ubadah—stood up, as if I were looking at him, and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, accept my work back from me.' He said: 'And what is that?' He said: 'I heard you say such and such.' He said: 'And I say that now: whoever we appoint to a task, let him bring its little and much. Whatever he is given from it, he takes, and whatever he is forbidden from, he refrains.'
