حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ خَارِجَةَ الْخُشَنِيَّ حَدَّثَهُمْ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَهُمْ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ، وَإِنَّ رَاحِلَتَهُ لَتَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا، وَإِنَّ لُعَابَهَا لَيَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] قَدْ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ، وَلَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ، الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ، أَلَا مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا » أَوْ « عَدْلًا وَلَا صَرْفًا

✧ The Prophet ﷺ addressed them while on his mount, and his mount was chewing its cud, and its saliva was flowing between my shoulders. He said: “Allah [Mighty and Majestic] has apportioned to every person his share of the inheritance, and no bequest is valid for an heir. The child belongs to the bed, and the fornicator gets the stone. Beware, whoever claims descent from other than his father or takes as patrons other than his masters, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Allah will not accept from him any turning away or any ransom,” or “any ransom or any turning away.”
