حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِمِنًى عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ، وَإِنِّي لَتَحْتَ جِرَانِ نَاقَتِهِ، وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا، وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ، فَقَالَ: « إِنَّ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] قَدْ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ، وَلَا تَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْوَلَدَ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ، أَلَا وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ».

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us while he was at Mina on his mount, and I was beneath the neck of his she-camel, which was chewing its cud, and its saliva was flowing between my shoulders. He said: “Allah [Mighty and Majestic] has apportioned to every person his share of the inheritance, and no bequest is valid for an heir. Beware, the child belongs to the bed, and the fornicator gets the stone. Beware, whoever claims descent from other than his father or takes as patrons other than his masters out of aversion to them, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people.”
