✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to wipe our faces during prayer and bless us. He said: One day he came and wiped the faces of those on my right and my left and left me out, because I had visited a sister of mine and wiped my face with some yellow perfume. It was said to me: The Messenger of God ﷺ only left you because of what he saw on your face. So I went to a well, got into it, and washed. Then I attended another prayer, and the Prophet ﷺ passed by me, wiped my face, and blessed me, saying: “He returned with the best of his religion, the highest; he repented, and the sky poured down rain.”
