حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ رَبِّهِ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِصْرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نَافِعِ ابْنِ الْعَمْيَاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
الصَّلَاةُ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى

ما يقول الليث أصح لأنه قد تابع الليث عمرو بن الحارث وابن لهيعة وعمرو والليث كانا يكتبان وشعبة صاحب حفظ قلت لأبي هذا الإسناد عندك صحيح قال حسن
machine translationWhat al-Layth says is more authentic, because ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith and Ibn Lahīʿah corroborated al-Layth. ʿAmr and al-Layth used to write, whereas Shuʿbah was a man of memory. I said to my father: Is this chain sound (ṣaḥīḥ) in your view? He said: Good (ḥasan).

وهذا الحديث هو الذي أراده البخاري أنه لم يصح وابن حماد ذهب عليه ما قاله البخاري فقال عن ربيعة بن الحارث وإنما هو عن عبد الله بن الحارث
