✧ I heard Muawiyah b. Abi Sufyan on this pulpit saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A group of my ummah will never cease standing upon Allah's command, unharmed by those who abandon or oppose them, until the command of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, comes, while they are dominant over the people. Then Malik b. Yakhamir al-Saksaki stood and said: O Commander of the Faithful, I heard Muadh b. Jabal say: They are the people of Sham. Muawiyah said, raising his voice: This is Malik claiming that he heard Muadh say: They are the people of Sham.
