قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ النَّاقِدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حُجَيْرٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي مُعَاوِيَةُ: عَلِمْتَ أَنِّي قَصَّرْتُ مِنْ رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِمِشْقَصٍ ؟ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: لَا أَعْلَمُ هَذَا إِلَّا حُجَّةً عَلَيْكَ
