حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
لَا تُبَادِرُونِي بِرُكُوعٍ وَلَا بِسُجُودٍ، فَإِنَّهُ مَهْمَا أَسْبِقْكُمْ بِهِ إِذَا رَكَعْتُ تُدْرِكُونِي إِذَا رَفَعْتُ، وَمَهْمَا أَسْبِقْكُمْ بِهِ إِذَا سَجَدْتُ تُدْرِكُونِي إِذَا رَفَعْتُ، إِنِّي قَدْ بَدُنْتُ

✧ Do not rush ahead of me in bowing or prostrating. Whatever I precede you in, if I bow, you catch up with me when I rise; and whatever I precede you in, if I prostrate, you catch up with me when I rise. I have grown heavy.
