Ibn al-Azhar said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after Allah had defeated the disbelievers, and the Muslims had returned to their camps, walking among the Muslims, saying: Who will guide me to the camp of Khalid b. al-Walid?' He said: 'So I walked—or he said: I hurried—in front of him, while I was a boy nearing puberty, saying: Who will guide us to the camp of Khalid?—until we stopped at his camp, where Khalid b. al-Walid was leaning against the back of his saddle. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to him and looked at his wound.' Al-Zuhri said: 'I think he said: And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ blew on it.'
