حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُنِيبٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ بَلَغَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
مَنْ سَتَرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، سَتَرَهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَرَحَلَ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ بِمِصْرَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْحَدِيثِ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ سَتَرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ فِي الدُّنْيَا سَتَرَهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ: وَأَنَا قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ Whoever conceals his Muslim brother in this world, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Resurrection. So he traveled to him while he was in Egypt and asked him about the ḥadīth. He said: Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever conceals his Muslim brother in this world, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Resurrection.” He said: And I too have heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
