✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Khaybar, and Khaybar became the property of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Muslims, he was unable to work it, so they handed it over to the Jews to tend and maintain, on condition that they would have half of what it produced. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided it into thirty-six shares, each share comprising one hundred portions. He made half of all that for the Muslims, and in that half were the shares of the Muslims and the share of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ along with them. He made the other half for whoever came to him of delegations, affairs, and people's needs.
